Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground pork

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon allspice

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

For the Creamy Sauce:

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.

Add the finely chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, Parmesan cheese, egg, nutmeg, allspice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. You should get approximately 20-24 meatballs.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 7-10 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until light golden.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Allow the sauce to thicken for about 5 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, then season with salt and pepper.

Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them in the creamy sauce. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the meatballs over creamy mashed potatoes or egg noodles, with a drizzle of the sauce on top. Garnish with extra parsley for a pop of color. 🍽️
