2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup strawberry ice cream

1 cup sparkling water or lemon-lime soda

½ cup whipped cream

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and sugar. Toss them gently to coat and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.

In a tall glass, add a generous scoop of strawberry ice cream.

Pour the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda over the ice cream, allowing it to fizz and create a float effect.

Spoon some of the macerated strawberries over the top of the float.

Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of the strawberries.

Garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for a bright finish.
