8 slices of salami

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Toothpicks for securing

Instructions
 

In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder and black pepper until smooth and well combined.

    Lay out a slice of salami on a clean surface or cutting board.

      Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over the salami slice.

        Place a slice of roasted red pepper and a few fresh basil leaves on top of the cream cheese.

          Starting from one end, roll the salami tightly around the filling.

            Secure the roll with a toothpick to hold everything in place.

              Repeat the process with the remaining salami slices and filling ingredients.

                Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter and chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving for a firmer texture.
