Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 large eggs

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Olive oil spray or 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and beat them lightly with a fork.

Take each chicken breast and dip it first into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

Next, press the chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is fully coated with the garlic Parmesan crust. Press down slightly to help the coating adhere.

Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece. Lightly spray or brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The coating should be crispy and golden.

Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, for a pop of color and flavor.
