Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the skillet, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Add Cream and Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Bring to a gentle simmer and then mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Combine Shrimp and Sauce: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat everything through and allow the shrimp to absorb some of the flavors.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side. Pair with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
