Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Pour the chicken and vegetable mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.

Open the biscuit dough package and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters and scatter them evenly over the chicken mixture.

Lightly brush the tops of the biscuit pieces with melted butter, if desired, for extra richness.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the biscuits.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.

Allow the casserole to cool for about 5 minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve hot in the baking dish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top for a pop of color, and pair with a crisp green salad on the side for a complete meal.
