Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

Zest and juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce:

          - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

            - Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.

              - Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle simmer.

                - Add the lemon zest and juice, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

                  - Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven. Drizzle the lemon butter cream sauce over each fillet and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!
