Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup heavy cream

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare Cream Mixture: In a bowl, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, and paprika. Mix well to combine. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Ingredients: In a baking dish, combine the sautéed shrimp and cream mixture. Ensure the shrimp are well-covered.

Top with Breadcrumbs: In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Spread this mixture evenly over the shrimp and cream.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
