2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup olive oil

2 large eggs

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings)

1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for serving)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray or line it with muffin liners.

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.

      In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, olive oil, and eggs until smooth.

        Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

          Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and marinara sauce gently until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

            Spoon the batter into each muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the tops are golden brown.

                Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

                  Serve warm with additional marinara sauce for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for an added touch.
