Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons red food coloring

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 cup cream cheese frosting (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).

Add in the eggs one at a time, making sure to beat well after each addition.

Mix in the red food coloring, vanilla extract, and almond extract until fully combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Gently fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly soft.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, generously swirl cream cheese frosting on top of each cookie or pipe it for a decorative touch.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 24 cookies

                          - Presentation Tips: Arrange the frosted cookies on a bright platter and garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or red sprinkles for an extra festive look. Enjoy these indulgent treats with a glass of milk!
