Ingredients
  

1 package (16 oz) frozen potato and cheese pierogi

1 large onion, diced

1 cup sour cream

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 cups vegetable broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a large crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom.

    Spread half of the diced onion over the pierogi.

      In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, vegetable broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

        Pour half of the sour cream mixture over the first layer of pierogi and onions.

          Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

            Repeat the layers with the remaining frozen pierogi, onions, sour cream mixture, and finish off with the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

              Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pierogi are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                Once done, serve hot and garnish with fresh chives.
