Instructions
Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
Layer Ingredients: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot. Top with chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
Mix the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and chicken broth until well combined. Pour this mixture over the chicken and tomatoes in the crockpot.
Cook: Cover the crockpot with a lid and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Finish and Serve: Once cooked, shred the chicken gently with two forks, allowing it to absorb the sauce. Stir to combine.
Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and added flavor.
