1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, minced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 carrot, julienned

2 green onions, chopped

Sesame seeds for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Rice: If you haven't already, cook the rice according to package instructions. Set aside and keep warm.

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon.

      Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

        Incorporate Sauces: Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil to the beef mixture, stirring well to combine. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

          Stir-fry Vegetables: In a separate pan, heat a dash of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
