8 oz rotini pasta

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cucumber, diced

1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup black olives, sliced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed

1/2 cup salami, diced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions
 

Begin by cooking the rotini pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, black olives, red onion, mozzarella, and salami. Stir gently to combine.

      In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white wine vinegar, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until smooth and well mixed.

        Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently until all the ingredients are well coated.

          Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary; add more salt and pepper to your liking.

            Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

              Before serving, give the salad a good mix and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
