Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz pasta shells

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Stir in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 3 minutes.

Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta shells and cheddar cheese to the skillet, stirring well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.

Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Remove from heat.

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the creamy beef and shells in shallow bowls, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color.
