Ingredients

12 oz. bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the Ground Beef: Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream, allowing the mixture to thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta and frozen peas into the creamy beef sauce. Stir well to combine, making sure the pasta is fully coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Add Cheese: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Serve and Garnish: Divide the creamy beef and bowtie pasta into serving bowls. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional cheese if desired. Enjoy!
