Instructions
Start by slicing the ripe avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a food processor.
Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to the food processor.
Blend the mixture on high until it becomes smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure everything is well mixed.
Taste the mousse, adjusting sweetness by adding more maple syrup if desired. Blend again if additional ingredients are added.
Once you achieve a rich, velvety texture, transfer the mousse into individual serving bowls or cups.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up slightly.
Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries and a sprig of mint for a refreshing touch.
Notes
For a sweeter mousse, adjust the sweetness with more maple syrup as needed.
