2 cups fresh cranberries, rinsed

1 orange, zested and juiced

½ cup red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced

¼ cup cilantro, chopped

1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

Salt to taste

½ teaspoon cumin

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

In a food processor, add the fresh cranberries and pulse until they are finely chopped but not pureed. Transfer to a mixing bowl.

    Add the orange zest and juice from the orange to the cranberries.

      Stir in the red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and honey.

        Season the mixture with salt, cumin, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

          Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
