Ingredients

3 lbs of snow crab legs (or your choice of crab)

8 cups of water

1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning

1 lemon, halved

5 cloves of garlic, crushed

1 onion, quartered

2 ears of corn, cut into thirds (optional)

1 lb small red potatoes

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt to taste

Additional lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Crab Legs: If using frozen crab legs, ensure they are thawed under cold running water for about 30 minutes.

Boil the Water: In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the Old Bay seasoning, halved lemon, crushed garlic, and quartered onion.

Cook the Potatoes: Add the small red potatoes to the boiling water. Cover and let them cook for about 10-15 minutes or until fork-tender.

Add the Corn: If using corn, add the pieces to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add Crab Legs: Carefully add the crab legs into the pot, ensuring they are submerged in the boiling liquid. Cook for 5-7 minutes.

Remove and Drain: Once cooked, use tongs to carefully transfer the crab legs, potatoes, and corn (if used) to a large serving platter or newspaper-lined table.

Serve: Drizzle the melted butter over the seafood boil. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side. For added zest, serve with extra Old Bay seasoning on the side.

Enjoy!: Dig in and enjoy the feast with your friends and family.
