Ingredients

1 loaf of rustic ciabatta or French bread

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt, to taste

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra richness)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, dill, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.

If using Parmesan cheese, fold it gently into the butter mixture for an extra savory kick.

Slice the loaf of ciabatta or French bread in half lengthwise to create two long halves.

Generously spread the cowboy butter mixture across the cut side of each bread half, ensuring an even distribution.

Place the buttered bread halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and the butter has melted.

For an extra crispy finish, broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
