Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cooked crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Crackers or vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream, mixing them together until smooth and creamy. This serves as your base.

Add in the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Gently fold in the crab meat and fresh dill, taking care not to break up the crab too much while still mixing evenly through the dip.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Since crab can be salty, start with a little, and adjust as needed.

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and cover it with plastic wrap or a lid. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.

Once chilled and set, give the dip one last stir before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions for an extra pop of color and flavor.

Serve with an assortment of crackers and vegetable sticks for dipping.
