Ingredients

2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters. Spread the pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cut cinnamon rolls in the baking dish, making sure every piece is soaked.

If using, sprinkle chopped pecans and raisins evenly over the top for added texture and flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed and golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Drizzle the included icing from the cinnamon roll cans over the top of the casserole while it’s still warm.

For an extra touch, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
