Ingredients

1 ciabatta roll or baguette

4 ounces salami, diced

4 ounces capicola, diced

4 ounces provolone cheese, diced

1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons pepperoncini, sliced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Start by preparing the dressing. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced salami, capicola, provolone cheese, chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, pepperoncini, and black olives.

Pour the dressing over the meat and veggie mixture. Toss gently to ensure everything is evenly coated.

Slice the ciabatta roll or baguette in half horizontally. Optionally, you can lightly toast the bread for extra crunch.

Generously pile the chopped Italian mixture onto the bottom half of the bread.

Place the top half of the bread over the sandwich filling, pressing down slightly.

For ease of serving, slice the sandwich into manageable portions.

Serve it immediately as a fantastic lunch or picnic option!
