Ingredients
Β Β

2 large navel oranges

1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao)

1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

Sea salt (for sprinkling)

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or crushed peppermint

Instructions
Β

Prepare the Oranges: Wash the oranges thoroughly. Slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds, discarding the ends. If desired, remove any seeds.

Dry the Slices: Pat the orange slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps the chocolate adhere better.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Coat the Orange Slices: Dip each orange slice into the melted chocolate, ensuring that one side is fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Set on a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the chocolate-coated orange slices on the parchment paper.

Add Toppings (Optional): While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle sea salt and any additional toppings like nuts, coconut, or crushed peppermint over the slices.

Chill to Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.

Serve: Once set, carefully peel the slices off the parchment paper. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy!

Store: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 10-12 slices
