In a 9x13 inch casserole dish, spread the chili beef mixture evenly across the bottom.
Evenly distribute the frozen tater tots over the chili mixture, ensuring they cover it completely.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese generously over the tater tots.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
If desired, serve with a dollop of sour cream and garnish with chopped green onions.
