Ingredients

1 can (15 oz) chili (with or without beans, your choice)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot based on preference)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Cream Cheese: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer or fork.

Combine Ingredients: Add the chili, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Layer the Cheese: Stir in half of both the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, ensuring an even distribution throughout the mixture.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan or a similar baking dish. Spread it evenly.

Top with Remaining Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on top of the chili cheese mixture.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and then garnish with freshly chopped cilantro. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
