8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine or penne)

1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium-low, then pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

        Combine Ingredients: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Return the cooked chicken and broccoli to the skillet. Stir in the cooked pasta and lemon juice, tossing everything together until well coated.

          Serve: Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
