Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup ricotta cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.

Mix the Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, ricotta, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until thoroughly blended.

Assemble the Rolls: Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border all around. Place slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese layer, making sure to cover most of the surface.

Roll It Up: Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck the ends.

Slice the Rolls: With a sharp knife, slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush with Olive Oil: Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning if desired.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Cool and Serve: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
