Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

6 slices of crispy bacon, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Add the chicken to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, Dijon mustard, and honey until well combined. This will be your mustard sauce.

In a baking dish, lay the seared chicken breasts. Spread the mustard sauce evenly over each piece of chicken.

Top the chicken with the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring each breast is generously covered.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Once done, remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
