Cheeseburger Egg Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  

1 pound ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 package egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil (for frying)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.

    Stir in the diced pickles, chopped onion, ketchup, mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

      Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing toward you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto the center of the wrapper.

        Add a small sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture.

          Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal. Use a little water on the edges to help it stick if needed. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

            In a large pot or deep fryer, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (around 350°F or 175°C).

              Carefully add a few egg rolls to the hot oil, frying them for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

                Serve warm with extra ketchup or mustard for dipping.
