Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon mustard

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup diced pickles

12 egg roll wrappers

Oil for frying

Optional: lettuce, tomatoes, and extra pickles for serving

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.

Stir in mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until well combined.

Remove from the heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced pickles. Allow the mixture to cool for about 10 minutes.

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with a corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheeseburger mixture near the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly to enclose the filling. Use a little water to seal the top corner.

Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

In a deep pan, heat about 2 inches of oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

Carefully add 3-4 egg rolls at a time, frying for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.

Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the egg rolls on a platter with a side of ketchup and mustard for dipping, and add a sprinkle of chopped lettuce and diced tomatoes on the side for a fresh touch.
