Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, riced

¼ cup almond flour

¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 large egg

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppings: marinara sauce, additional cheese, vegetables, or herbs

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Rinse and thoroughly dry the cauliflower. Cut it into florets and then pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice or small grains.

Transfer the riced cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and twist tightly to squeeze out as much moisture as possible. This step is crucial for a crispy crust!

In a large bowl, combine the dry riced cauliflower, almond flour, shredded mozzarella, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

Using your hands, form the mixture into a dough-like ball. Place it on the prepared baking sheet and flatten it into a pizza shape, about ¼ inch thick.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and firm.

Remove from the oven and add your desired sauce and toppings.

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once done, let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
