Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined. This will create a light and fluffy base for the dip.
In a small bowl, combine the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss until the apples are evenly coated with the spices.
Layer the cream cheese mixture at the bottom of a serving dish or bowl, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Pour the caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer, allowing it to drizzle down the sides.
Top the caramel with the spiced diced apples, spreading them evenly across the dip.
