Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the Seafood: Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning evenly over both the salmon and shrimp, ensuring they are well coated. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once the butter is bubbly and fragrant, carefully add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

Flip the Salmon: Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through and the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the skillet and transfer to a plate.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add another 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Combine and Finish: Reduce the heat to low and add the lemon juice to the skillet. Stir gently to combine, ensuring the garlic butter coats the shrimp. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, allowing them to warm through in the garlic butter sauce for about 1 minute.

Serve: Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

              - Presentation Tips: Serve the Cajun salmon and shrimp on a platter or individual plates, drizzled with the garlic butter sauce and garnished with chopped green onions and parsley for a pop of color. Pair with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
