Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Season the Steak: In a bowl, combine the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to ensure all pieces are well-coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers, about 2 minutes.

Cook the Steak: Add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until they develop a nice brown crust and reach your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.

Prepare Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic, stirring until the butter melts and the garlic becomes fragrant, around 1-2 minutes (be careful not to burn the garlic).

Combine and Finish: Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter mixture to coat well. Cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and toss again. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for an added zing.
