Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 cup large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup spinach leaves

1 medium bell pepper, diced (red or yellow)

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate: In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets and the shrimp. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp. Sear them for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.

Prepare the Sauce: To the same skillet, add the minced garlic and diced bell pepper. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the peppers are tender.

Create Creamy Mixture: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream, paprika, and spinach. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Combine: Return the cooked salmon and shrimp to the skillet, gently folding them into the creamy sauce. Let everything heat together for another minute or two.

Serve: Plate the creamy salmon and shrimp on a bed of rice or pasta, then drizzle some of the sauce over the top.

                - Presentation Tips: Garnish with sliced green onions and chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve with a lemon wedge for a zesty touch.
