Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated butter biscuits (8 pieces)

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (or bacon, if preferred)

1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red and green for color)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or lightly grease it with melted butter.

Open the can of butter biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Evenly distribute the biscuit pieces at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

Layer the cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage (or bacon), diced bell peppers, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the biscuit pieces in the baking dish.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the entire dish, ensuring the biscuits and toppings are well-coated.

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and the chopped green onions over the top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the top is golden brown.

Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
