Ingredients

1 French baguette, sliced into 1-inch thick pieces

1 ball of Burrata cheese (approx. 8 oz)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 clove garlic, minced

3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each side lightly with olive oil.

Toast the bread in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

While the bread is toasting, prepare the tomato topping. In a medium bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the baguette slices are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Carefully place a generous portion of Burrata cheese on each slice of toasted baguette.

Spoon the prepared tomato mixture generously over the top of the Burrata.

Drizzle each bruschetta with balsamic glaze for sweetness and added flavor.

Serve immediately while the bread is still crisp, and the Burrata is creamy.
