Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.

Sauté Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Broth and Seasoning: Pour in the beef broth, and stir in the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Raise heat to bring to a simmer.

Melt the Cheese: Reduce heat to low, then add the cubed Velveeta cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy and well-combined.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing it gently in the creamy beef sauce until fully coated. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute before serving.
