Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small hamburger buns

8 slices of American cheese

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1 cup pickles, sliced

½ cup diced tomatoes

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

1 tablespoon sweet relish

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined and form the mixture into small patties, about the size of the mini buns.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned and cooked through to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to allow it to melt.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and sweet relish to create a tasty “special sauce.”

While the cheese is melting, toast the mini hamburger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster, just enough to give them a bit of crispiness.

Once the patties are cooked and cheese has melted, assemble the burgers. Start with the bottom half of the bun, add a cheesy patty, a spoonful of the special sauce, some shredded lettuce, a few pickle slices, and a couple of diced tomatoes. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the mini Big Mac cheeseburgers warm, plated with extra pickles and a drizzle of the special sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 8 mini burgers

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the mini burgers on a wooden board or in a small basket lined with parchment paper. Garnish with fresh herbs or a side of cherry tomatoes for a pop of color.
