4 slices of sourdough bread

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Prep the Bread: Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. This will give you a crispy, golden crust.

    Layer Ingredients: On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread a tablespoon of marinara sauce evenly.
