Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for topping)

Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it on the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams to seal.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy.

Add granulated sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and eggs to the cream cheese. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese filling, again pressing the seams to seal.

Mix the cinnamon with a tablespoon of sugar (optional). Sprinkle this mixture over the top layer of crescent rolls for added flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cream cheese filling is set.

Allow the casserole to cool for 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.

Slice into squares and serve warm, garnished with fresh berries.
