Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup Nutella

4 slices of brioche or challah bread

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Bread: Start by spreading a thin layer of softened butter on one side of each slice of brioche. This will give the toast a golden crispy texture when cooked.

Assemble the Sandwich: On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, spread 2 tablespoons of Nutella each. Layer sliced bananas and strawberries on top of the Nutella. Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side outward.

Cook the Sandwiches: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the Nutella is melted inside.

Cut and Serve: Carefully remove the sandwiches from the skillet, allow them to cool for a minute, then cut them in half diagonally.

Garnish and Enjoy: Dust with powdered sugar on top and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
