Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut four large pieces of aluminum foil, enough to wrap each salmon fillet and asparagus bundle.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

Place each salmon fillet on a piece of foil and drizzle about a tablespoon of the olive oil mixture over each fillet.

On the side of the salmon, arrange a handful of trimmed asparagus.

Drizzle the remaining olive oil mixture over the asparagus as well.

Fold the foil over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet, ensuring it's tightly closed to trap the steam inside.

Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.

Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam) and check the seasoning, adjusting if necessary.

Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
