Ingredients

2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes. Whisk together until well mixed.

Marinate the Steaks: Place the ribeye steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, making sure they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.

Preheat the Oven: When ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the Steaks: Remove the steaks from the marinade and allow any excess to drip off. Place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (130°F for medium-rare).

Rest the Steaks: Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serve: Slice against the grain and serve the steaks garnished with fresh parsley if desired. Pair with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
