Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon ketchup (optional for extra flavor)

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.

Roll out the refrigerated crescent roll dough on a floured surface, gently pressing the seams together to create a flat rectangle.

Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the dough, and then sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese across the surface.

Evenly distribute the beef and bacon mixture over the cheese. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

Starting at one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight cylinder, enclosing the filling inside.

Slice the rolled-up dough into 1-inch sections and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and the beef is cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. If desired, drizzle with ketchup for extra flavor and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
