Ingredients

4 cups water

4 tablespoons Thai tea leaves (or a good alternative blend)

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup evaporated milk or coconut milk

Ice cubes

Instructions

Boil Water: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Brew Tea: Remove from heat and add the Thai tea leaves to the boiling water. Stir gently and let it steep for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor to be.

Strain: After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher using a fine mesh sieve or tea strainer to eliminate the leaves. Add the sugar to the hot tea and stir until completely dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

Serve: To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the chilled Thai tea over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.

Add Cream: Gently stir in the sweetened condensed milk and top with evaporated milk or coconut milk, creating a beautiful swirl effect. Adjust the sweetness by adding more condensed milk if desired.

Garnish & Enjoy: Optional – garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of lime for a refreshing twist.
