Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast, diced

1 cup coleslaw mix

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

1 package wonton wrappers

Oil for frying

Optional: Sweet chili sauce for drizzling

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced chicken breast, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil. Once hot, add the seasoned chicken. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, coleslaw mix, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Toss everything together until evenly mixed.

Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center. Fold the wrapper over to create a taco shape, sealing the edges by pressing with your fingers. Repeat with remaining mixtures and wrappers.

In a deep skillet or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat for frying. Once hot, carefully add the tacos, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

For serving, arrange the crispy tacos on a platter and drizzle with sweet chili sauce if desired.
