Ingredients

8 oz uncooked rotini or fusilli pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Optional: Marinara or ranch sauce for dipping

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (typically about 8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Season the Pasta: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This ensures the chips will be crispy.

Air Fry the Pasta: Spread the seasoned pasta in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. You might need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Finish and Serve: Once the pasta chips are done, let them cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chips while they are still warm for extra flavor. Serve with marinara or ranch sauce for dipping.
