1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (mix 1 teaspoon cinnamon with 1 tablespoon sugar)

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Optional: Ice cream for serving

Prepare the Apples: In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Mix well and set aside to allow the flavors to meld (about 10 minutes).

    Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) while the apple filling is resting.

      Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. If using dough that’s not perforated, you can gently pat it out to form triangles.

        Fill the Rolls: Place a spoonful of the apple filling into the wide end of each crescent roll triangle. Carefully roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking the ends in to seal the filling inside.

          Grease the Air Fryer Basket: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking.

            Arrange the Apple Bombs: Place the rolled apple pie bombs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded (you may need to do this in batches).

              Air Fry the Bombs: Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up. Flip them halfway through for even cooking.

                Cool and Serve: Once done, remove the apple pie bombs from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream if desired.
